AXING BSD96720X presa passante multimedia 20dB 5-1800MHz DOCSIS 3.1/4.0

In broadband and cable TV networks, signal distribution to multiple outlets often causes signal loss and interference. The AXING BSD96720X multimedia through-outlet solves this by providing a 20 dB tap loss for connected devices while maintaining a low through loss of 1.5 dB (up to 1218 MHz) for downstream outlets. It supports the full 5–1800 MHz frequency range, making it compatible with DOCSIS 3.1 and DOCSIS 4.0 services.

Who is it for

This outlet is intended for installers and network operators building or upgrading residential or commercial coaxial distribution systems. It suits projects requiring reliable signal levels for TV, radio, and high-speed data services, including future DOCSIS 4.0 deployments.

Main features

• Multimedia through-outlet with three output ports: TV (IEC male), Radio (IEC female), and Data (F-type female).
• 20 dB tap loss for connected devices, ensuring proper signal levels.
• Low through loss: 1.5 dB (5–1218 MHz) and 2.0 dB (1218–1800 MHz) for cascading.
• Wide frequency range: 5–1800 MHz forward, 5–204 MHz return path.
• DOCSIS 3.1 and DOCSIS 4.0 compatible for high-speed internet.
• High shielding effectiveness (>100 dB, Class A) to prevent interference.
• DC pass on the data port for remote powering of amplifiers or other active devices.
• Flush-mount design for clean in-wall installation.

Tips

When planning a cascade, account for the through loss to ensure the last outlet still receives adequate signal. Use high-quality coaxial cables and connectors to maintain shielding effectiveness. For DOCSIS 4.0 networks, verify that all components in the signal path support the extended frequency range.
