B.E.G. LUXOMAT PD4-Slave-K rilevatore di presenza unità slave per corridoi, montaggio a soffitto, bianco

The B.E.G. LUXOMAT PD4-Slave-K is a dedicated slave unit engineered to extend the detection coverage of master presence detectors in long corridors and gangways. Unlike standalone sensors, it operates without its own switching output or light sensor, instead relaying precise presence data to a compatible master unit. This division of labour allows for cost-effective, large-scale lighting control with uniform response across extended spaces.

Highlights

• Passive infrared (PIR) sensor tailored for corridor detection: radial 10 x 3 m and tangential 24 x 4 m at 2.5 m mounting height.
• Slave architecture: no integrated light sensor or switching output; all decisions are made by the master unit.
• Low power consumption (< 1 W) and powered directly by the master via 3-wire connection.
• UV-stabilised polycarbonate housing in white (RAL 9010) for durable indoor ceiling installation.
• Wide operating temperature range from -25 °C to +50 °C, suitable for unheated passageways.

In daily use

Installed at a height of 2.5 to 3.5 metres, the PD4-Slave-K monitors movement along corridors, storage areas, and long gangways. When a person enters the detection zone, the slave sends a signal to the master detector, which then activates the lighting. Multiple slaves can be connected to a single master, ensuring seamless coverage without gaps or false triggers. The unit's flush or surface mounting options (with accessory) allow flexible integration into various ceiling types.
