MACLEAN MCE18 rilevatore di movimento PIR con riconoscimento acustico, montaggio a parete, 160°, 1200W, bianco

Most motion sensors simply react to movement, but the MACLEAN MCE18 adds a second layer of intelligence: sound detection. This wall-mounted unit combines a passive infrared sensor with a built-in microphone, so it can switch lights on when someone enters a room or when a noise above a set threshold is heard. That dual trigger makes it especially useful in spaces where movement may be hidden from the sensor's field of view, such as behind furniture or around corners.

Highlights

• PIR motion sensor with adjustable detection range from 3 to 10 metres
• Wide 160° detection angle covers large areas from a single mounting point
• Integrated microphone for sound-activated switching (30–90 dB adjustable)
• Handles up to 1200 W incandescent loads or 300 W LED/fluorescent loads
• Adjustable light sensitivity from <3 to 2000 lux – works day or night
• Time delay adjustable from 10 seconds to 7 minutes
• Wall-mounted design, ideal for hallways, staircases, garages, and utility rooms

In daily use

The MCE18 is built for convenience. Set the lux dial so it only operates after dusk, or leave it active around the clock in windowless areas. The time delay can be tuned to keep lights on for just a few seconds or several minutes after the last trigger. Because the microphone sensitivity is adjustable, you can avoid false activations from background noise while still responding to a knock, a voice, or a door closing. Installation is straightforward: mount the unit at a height between 1 and 1.8 metres, connect the wiring, and adjust the three dials to suit the room.
