BEMKO E04-PI12-IP55 scatola di derivazione da parete 85x85x36,5mm IP55 12 ingressi grigio chiaro

Exposed wiring connections in damp or dusty environments often fail due to moisture ingress, leading to corrosion, short circuits, and safety hazards. The BEMKO E04-PI12-IP55 surface-mounted junction box solves this by providing a robust, sealed enclosure that protects electrical junctions from water jets and dust, ensuring long-term reliability in demanding installations.

Who is it for

This junction box is ideal for electricians, maintenance technicians, and DIY enthusiasts working on outdoor lighting, garden power, workshop wiring, or industrial control circuits. It suits both residential and commercial projects where surface mounting is preferred and space is limited, thanks to its compact 85x85 mm footprint.

Main features

• IP55-rated protection against dust and low-pressure water jets from any direction, verified by EN 60670-22.
• Twelve flexible membrane cable entries allow multiple cable sizes and orientations without additional glands, simplifying installation.
• Halogen-free polypropylene body in light grey (RAL 7035) resists UV radiation and impact (IK07), ensuring durability outdoors.
• Screw-on lid with stainless steel screws and EPDM gasket maintains a reliable seal over repeated access.
• Operates safely from -25°C to +60°C, making it suitable for harsh climates.
• Complies with EN 60670-1 and EN 60670-22, with glow wire resistance up to 650°C for fire safety.

Tips

For optimal sealing, ensure cables enter through the membrane entries without excessive bending, and tighten the lid screws evenly to compress the EPDM gasket. When mounting outdoors, position the box with cable entries facing downward or use drip loops to prevent water accumulation. Always verify that the total cable cross-section does not exceed the box's internal capacity to maintain proper insulation and heat dissipation.
