Why choose it

This box is built for durability in both indoor and protected outdoor environments. The halogen-free, UV-stabilised polypropylene resists weathering and yellowing, ensuring long-term performance. Its eight knockouts provide flexibility for cable entry from top, bottom, sides, or rear, reducing installation time. The IP55 rating means it can be used in areas subject to occasional splashing or dust, such as workshops, garages, or covered exterior walls.

Ideal use cases

• Junction box for lighting circuits in damp locations
• Protection for cable splices in garages or basements
• Mounting base for sensors or small devices in semi-outdoor areas
• Distribution point for low-voltage wiring in workshops
• Enclosure for terminal blocks in industrial control panels

Good to know

The box is supplied as a single unit. It is compatible with standard cable glands or grommets for additional sealing. The screw-on lid ensures a tight fit, and the smooth surface allows for easy cleaning. For installation, use appropriate fixings for the substrate (not included). Always follow local electrical codes and ensure the box is de-energised before working.
