BlueOptics 716195-B21-BL cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand 1 m MiniSAS-HD connettore/connettore

The BlueOptics 716195-B21-BL is a 1m InfiniBand fibre optic cable with MiniSAS-HD male-to-male connectors, built for high-speed data transfer in data centers and high-performance computing environments. This cable provides a compact connection solution for servers, storage arrays and switches where reliable, low-latency links are required. The BlueOptics design emphasizes signal integrity and mechanical durability while maintaining a slim profile for dense rack deployments.

Advantages

This InfiniBand fibre optic cable supports high bandwidth and low-latency communication over a short 1 metre length, reducing signal loss for rack-to-rack and intra-rack connections. The MiniSAS-HD male connectors enable secure mating with compatible ports and are engineered for repeated insertions. The cable jacket and internal fibre construction deliver stable optical performance and protection against bending stress common in confined cable runs.

Suitable for

• Server-to-switch interconnects in data centers
• Storage array connections and SAN topologies
• High-performance computing clusters and node links
• Short-distance, high-bandwidth links inside server racks

Key specifications

• Cable type: InfiniBand fibre optic
• Connector type: MiniSAS-HD male to male
• Length: 1 metre
• Physical colour: blue
• Designed for high-bandwidth, low-latency data transmission

How to use

Connect one MiniSAS-HD male connector to the MiniSAS-HD port on the source device and the other connector to the corresponding port on the destination device, ensuring the connectors are aligned before insertion. Route the cable within the rack or enclosure avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain the manufacturer’s recommended minimum bend radius for fibre optic cabling. Verify link status on both devices and perform any required configuration or port mapping in the operating system or switch management interface.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this 1m InfiniBand fibre optic cable for short, high-throughput connections within racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid tight bends and mechanical strain, keep connectors free of dust and debris, and inspect connector endfaces before making connections. When deploying multiple cables in dense environments, label both ends clearly and maintain tidy cable management to reduce stress and simplify maintenance.
