Cavo InfiniBand CBO CBL-330-BO 30 m SFP+ arancione

BlueOptics InfiniBand cable CBL-330-BO is a 30 m SFP+ compatible link cable in orange designed for high-speed data interconnects in storage systems, HPC clusters and server environments. The fixed-length fibre link provides a clear, durable connection between SFP+ ports and is intended for short- to medium-distance rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment cabling where an orange jacket helps with visual identification of the InfiniBand link.

Advantages

The cable offers SFP+ compatibility and a consistent 30 metre length to simplify installation planning and ensure predictable signal performance. Its orange outer jacket improves cable identification in dense racks, while the fibre design supports high data rates and low-latency links typical for InfiniBand deployments. The fixed connector ends reduce the need for additional transceivers and allow direct connection between compatible SFP+ ports.

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each end into the corresponding SFP+ port on the devices to be linked, ensuring secure seating of the connectors. Route the cable through the rack or cable management tray to avoid sharp bends and reduce strain on the connectors. Verify link status via the connected devices' management interfaces or LEDs to confirm the physical connection is active. For maintenance, power down equipment if required by site procedures before disconnecting the cable.

Recommendations

Use the 30 m length for connections where fixed-length planning simplifies topology and where colour-coded cables reduce mispatching. Avoid tight bends and excessive pulling force, and keep connectors clean to maintain signal integrity. Check device compatibility with SFP+ link cables and follow site grounding and cable management practices.
