Cavo InfiniBand CBO QSFP passivo 1 m, modello CBL-QSFP-40GE-PASS-1M-BL, acqua/blu

Passive InfiniBand cable CBO QSFP, 1 m length in aqua/blue, is designed for short-range high-speed connections between QSFP-equipped devices. The cable provides a direct, compact link for 40GbE and InfiniBand interfaces used in data center and high-performance computing (HPC) environments. Its construction targets low latency and minimal signal loss for within-rack or rack-to-rack connectivity where active transceivers are not required.

Advantages

This passive QSFP cable offers a cost-effective solution for short-distance 40GbE and InfiniBand links with simple plug-and-play installation and no additional power draw from active transceivers. The cable’s compact form factor reduces cable management complexity in dense rack setups while maintaining low latency and reliable electrical performance. Its aqua/blue jacket provides clear visual identification for network and storage interconnects.

How to use

Insert each QSFP connector into matching QSFP ports on the devices to be linked, ensuring connectors are fully seated and any retention latches engage. Use the cable for short distances up to the specified 1 m; avoid excessive bending or strain on the cable and connectors. Verify link status on connected devices after installation and, if necessary, adjust port configurations to enable 40GbE or InfiniBand operation according to equipment documentation.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, route the cable with gentle curves and maintain recommended bend radii; avoid routing near sources of mechanical stress or heat. Use passive QSFP cables for short, high-density runs — for longer distances or where optical isolation is required, consider active or fiber optic alternatives. Label both ends to simplify future maintenance and inventory tracking.
