Cavo Mini-SAS HD CBO CBL-SAST-0677-BL 3 m connettore maschio dritto

BlueOptics Mini-SAS HD cable CBL-SAST-0677-BL is a 3 m straight male-to-male SAS interconnect designed for high-density storage and server environments. The cable links Mini-SAS HD ports to provide reliable short-range data transfer between servers, external enclosures and SAN components. Its form factor and length are intended for rack-mounted systems and compact topologies where a direct SAS connection is required.

Advantages

The cable supports high-density Mini-SAS HD connectors and a durable construction to maintain signal integrity in server rooms and storage racks. A 3 meter length offers flexibility for common rack and enclosure layouts while keeping signal attenuation low over short distances. The straight male-to-male configuration enables straightforward point-to-point connections without adapters.

Suitable for

• Connecting servers to external SAS storage enclosures
• Short-range links inside rack-mounted systems
• Direct SAN component interconnects in data centers
• High-density storage arrays and expansion modules

Key specifications

• Cable type: Mini-SAS HD (male to male)
• Length: 3 metres
• Connector orientation: straight
• Use case: short-range internal and external SAS connections
• Suitable environments: rack-mounted systems, storage enclosures, SAN configurations

How to use

Identify Mini-SAS HD ports on both devices and align the straight male connectors with the port openings. Insert the connectors firmly until they seat; do not force if resistance is encountered. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it within the rack or enclosure to prevent strain on the connectors. Verify link status on connected devices to confirm successful connection and proper operation.

Recommendations

Keep cable runs within recommended lengths for SAS to minimize signal loss. Avoid tight bends and repeated flexing near connector ends. When installing in racks, use cable management to prevent stress and ensure proper airflow around storage equipment.
