CBO cavo ottico attivo InfiniBand SFP+ 1m — 10G SFP+ (modello 10G-SFPP-AOC-0101-BO)

CBO InfiniBand SFP+ Active Optical Cable 1m is a factory-terminated AOC designed for 10G SFP+ links. The cable provides a compact, low-latency optical connection intended for short-reach deployments in data centers, server racks and high-performance cluster networks. Its orange jacket offers clear visual identification, while the one-metre length reduces excess cabling and supports tidy rack layouts between adjacent ports on switches, storage arrays and servers.

Advantages

The active optical design delivers high bandwidth with minimal signal loss over the one-metre distance and supports 10 Gigabit SFP+ interfaces without additional transceivers. The factory-terminated construction ensures consistent performance and plug-and-play usability. The compact SFP+ connector housing and flexible cable assembly simplify installation in dense rack environments and improve airflow compared to thicker copper alternatives.

Suitable for

• 10G SFP+ uplinks between switches
• Server-to-switch connections in data centers
• Storage array interconnects and SAN fabric links
• High-performance computing clusters and InfiniBand fabric segments

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP+ optical interfaces at both ends
• Data rate: supports 10 Gigabit per second links
• Cable type: active optical cable (AOC) with factory-terminated connectors
• Length: 1 metre
• Jacket color: orange for port identification
• Form factor: compact SFP+ assembly suitable for high-density deployments

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on network switches, servers or storage devices until the latch engages. Ensure the connected equipment is powered and configured for 10G SFP+ operation; the AOC is plug-and-play and typically requires no additional transceivers or configuration at the cable level. Route the 1 m cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain bend radius recommendations to preserve optical performance.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, verify port compatibility and firmware support on network devices before deployment. Use the 1 m active optical cable for short-reach links inside racks or between adjacent racks and avoid exposing the cable to excessive tension, tight bends or environments with high mechanical strain. The orange jacket aids quick identification during maintenance and cable management.
