Ricetrasmettitore in fibra ottica CBO LFP421 1250 Mbit/s LC, 20 km

CBO LFP421 is a single‑mode fiber optic transceiver module with an LC connector that supports a 1250 Mbit/s data rate and a reach of up to 20 km. The module provides a standard duplex LC interface for integration into compatible switches, routers, media converters and other network equipment. Designed for access, metro and enterprise fiber links, the transceiver enables reliable long‑distance data transmission over single‑mode fiber with a compact SFP‑style form factor and low power consumption.

Advantages

The transceiver delivers a consistent 1250 Mbit/s throughput over distances up to 20 000 meters, maintaining signal integrity on single‑mode fiber. Its LC duplex connector ensures compatibility with a wide range of optical patch cords and existing network infrastructure. The compact module design simplifies installation in populated networking devices while offering thermal stability and low electrical interface complexity. This unit follows common optical module sizing and electrical signaling conventions to enable straightforward upgrades or replacements.

Suitable for

• Long‑distance single‑mode fiber connections in access networks
• Fiber uplinks between metro and campus switches
• Enterprise backbone links and point‑to‑point fiber segments
• Upgrading or expanding existing LC‑terminated fiber infrastructure

Key specifications

• Data rate: 1250 Mbit/s
• Fiber type: single‑mode
• Connector: duplex LC
• Maximum reach: 20 km (20,000 m)
• Form factor: compact SFP‑style optical transceiver

How to use

Install the transceiver into the appropriate SFP/mini‑GBIC slot of a compatible network device while the device is powered down or following the device vendor’s hot‑swap guidelines. Connect duplex single‑mode LC patch cords to the module’s transmit and receive ports, ensuring correct fiber polarity. Configure link speed and duplex settings as required by the host device; many systems will auto‑negotiate when a compatible module is detected. Verify optical power and link status via the host device management interface or test equipment after installation.

Recommendations

Handle the LC connector and fiber ends with care; keep dust caps on until final connection and clean connectors with approved fiber cleaning tools to avoid signal loss. Ensure proper bend radius for single‑mode fiber and use compatible LC duplex patch cords rated for single‑mode operation to maintain link performance over the specified 20 km reach.
