Ricetrasmettitore ottico SFP28 CBO SFP28-25G-LR-DL-BO 25 Gbit/s LC monomodale 10.000 m

CBO SFP28-25G-LR-DL-BO is a single-mode fiber-optic SFP28 transceiver module that supports 25 Gbps data rates and uses an LC duplex connector. Engineered for long-reach links, this module provides a nominal transmission distance of up to 10,000 meters over single-mode fiber. It is intended for deployment in routers, switches and aggregation equipment where reliable high-speed optical uplink and downlink connectivity is required in data center, metro and enterprise networks.

Advantages

This SFP28 transceiver supports 25 Gbps line rate with low power consumption and compact SFP28 form factor, allowing straightforward substitution in compatible 25G ports. The LC duplex interface ensures a standardized physical connection for single-mode fibers while the optical design enables stable long-distance transmission up to 10 km. The module is suitable for hot-plug installation and integrates with standard optical link management features in modern network equipment.

Suitable for

• 25 Gbps uplinks and downlinks between switches and routers
• Data center spine-leaf and server connections over single-mode fiber
• Metro aggregation links requiring long-reach optical connectivity
• Enterprise backbone links and campus interbuilding connections

Key specifications

• Nominal data rate: 25 Gbps
• Fiber type: single-mode fiber (SMF)
• Connector: LC duplex
• Maximum reach: up to 10,000 meters (10 km)
• Form factor: SFP28
• Typical application: long-reach optical links for networking equipment

How to use

Install the transceiver into a compatible SFP28 slot on routers, switches or other networking devices while the host port is powered or according to the equipment manufacturer’s hot-plug guidance. Connect LC duplex patch cables to the module’s transmitter and receiver ports, ensuring correct polarity. Configure the host interface for 25 Gbps operation and verify link status through the device management interface. Monitor optical power and link diagnostics where supported to confirm proper operation.

Recommendations

Use high-quality single-mode fiber and LC connectors for best results, maintain correct Tx/Rx polarity, and observe manufacturer guidelines for operating temperature and handling to ensure stable performance over the specified 10 km range.
