BlueOptics XXVAOCBL3M-BO Cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand 3 m SFP28 acqua

The BlueOptics XXVAOCBL3M-BO is a 3 m active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 to SFP28 connectors designed for 25G InfiniBand and fiber-optic applications. The cable uses multi-mode fiber and integrated transmitter/receiver modules on each end to support high-speed data transmission with low latency and immunity to electromagnetic interference. It is manufactured to MSA (Multi-Source Agreement) SFP28 AOC standards and intended for use in switches, routers, storage systems and other network equipment that support SFP28 AOCs.

Advantages

The BlueOptics AOC provides a pre-terminated fiber link that removes the need for separate transceivers and patch cords, reducing insertion loss and simplifying installation. Compliance with SFP28 MSA standards ensures mechanical and electrical interoperability with compatible hardware. Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM/DOM) is supported for real-time monitoring of supply voltage, laser bias current, transmit and receive optical power, and temperature when the host hardware provides DDM access. Components from established suppliers are used to achieve long operational lifetime and high MTBF.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics XXVAOCBL3M-BO by inserting each SFP28 end into the corresponding SFP28 port on network devices until the module clicks into place. Ensure both devices support SFP28 AOCs and, if DDM/DOM information is required, that the host hardware exposes diagnostic registers. No additional transceivers or fiber patching are needed; the preassembled cable delivers a ready-to-use optical link. Follow standard hot-plug insertion/removal procedures for SFP28 modules and power-cycle devices only if recommended by the hardware vendor.

Recommendations

To maintain optimal performance, avoid tight bends and excessive mechanical stress on the cable; observe minimum bend radius guidelines for multimode fiber. Verify compatibility with the host device firmware and enable DDM/DOM monitoring if remote diagnostics are needed. For installations in dense racks, route the cable to minimize strain and keep connectors free of dust when idle.
