Cambia-sesso per cavi DeLOCK 63313

The DeLOCK 63313 cable gender changer adapts between DVI 24+1 and DVI 24+5 connections, enabling devices with different DVI connector types to be joined without replacing cables. The adapter is black and includes EDID/DDC emulation so that a source device retains its video signal and resolution even when no monitor is connected; it can also read and store EDID data from a connected display.

Advantages

The adapter preserves the video output by emulating standard EDID/DDC information, prevents automatic signal shutdown or resolution changes when no monitor is present, and supports reading and saving EDID data from an attached display for consistent behaviour across reboots and reconnections.

Suitable for

• Connecting devices with a DVI 24+1 (single-link) connector to devices with a DVI 24+5 (dual-link) connector
• Use in test benches or systems where a monitor is not permanently attached but a stable signal is required
• Situations where EDID data must be preserved or copied from an existing monitor

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK
• Model / MPN: 63313
• Connectors: 1 x DVI 24+1 (female) and 1 x DVI 24+5 (female)
• Colour: Black
• Function: EDID/DDC emulation with read and save capability
• EAN: 4043619633135

How to use

Plug the adapter between the two DVI cables or devices you want to connect, ensuring correct seating of the DVI 24+1 and DVI 24+5 connectors. When no monitor is present, the adapter will emulate EDID/DDC to keep the source output active. To copy EDID data from a connected monitor, follow the device-specific procedure for reading and storing EDID (refer to any accompanying instructions or the source device's manual if available).

Recommendations

Use the adapter in dry, dust-free environments and avoid excessive bending or mechanical stress on connected DVI cables; when transferring EDID data, ensure the monitor remains connected and powered until the read/save process completes.
