Caricabatterie CTEK MXS 10 — caricabatterie di rete 12V, 10A per batterie al piombo-acido

CTEK MXS 10 is a mains battery charger for 12V lead‑acid batteries, delivering up to 10A charging current. The charger uses a controlled multi‑stage charging algorithm that supports normal charging, maintenance charging and battery conditioning including desulphation. Designed for use with a wide range of lead‑acid battery types commonly found in cars, vans and other 12V vehicle applications, the unit includes built‑in protections for reverse polarity and short circuit to ensure safe connection and operation.

Advantages

The CTEK MXS 10 provides precise multi‑stage charging that prolongs battery life and restores partly discharged batteries. Its automatic charging program adapts to battery condition and moves between bulk, absorption and maintenance phases without user intervention. Integrated safety features protect against reverse polarity and short circuits, while temperature compensation helps maintain correct charging in varying environmental conditions. The charger supports both normal recharge and long‑term storage maintenance.

How to use

Connect the charger to the mains supply and then attach the clamps or supplied connector to the battery terminals, observing polarity markings. Select the appropriate charging program if manual selection is available; otherwise the unit will automatically identify and run the correct multi‑stage cycle. Monitor the charger’s indicators for progress: the unit proceeds through bulk, absorption and maintenance stages and will switch to a float/maintenance mode when charging is complete. Disconnect the charger from mains before removing the clamps if instructed by the user manual.

Recommendations

For best results, ensure battery terminals are clean and connections are secure before charging. Use the charger in well‑ventilated, dry environments and avoid exposure to extreme temperatures. For batteries showing severe sulphation or very low open‑circuit voltage, follow manufacturer guidance and consider professional inspection if reconditioning does not restore expected capacity.
