Case per SSD M.2 LC-POWER (NVMe e SATA), USB 3.2 Gen.2x1, Nero – LC-M2-C-MULTI-2

The LC-Power LC-M2-C-MULTI is an external aluminium SSD enclosure for one M.2 drive, compatible with both NVMe and SATA M.2 SSDs. It supports NVMe M.2 SSDs with M-Key and B+M-Key, as well as SATA M.2 SSDs with B+M-Key, and connects via USB Type-C to provide a data transfer rate up to 10 Gbit/s (USB 3.2 Gen 2x1). The enclosure is finished in black and is intended for portable expansion or backup of M.2 storage.

Advantages

The aluminium housing offers passive heat dissipation and a compact, durable design. Support for both PCI Express (NVMe) and Serial ATA (SATA) M.2 interfaces makes the enclosure versatile for different M.2 SSD types. The USB Type-C connection and 10 Gbit/s bandwidth enable fast data transfers when paired with a compatible host.

Suitable for

• Portable access to a single M.2 NVMe or SATA SSD
• Backing up or transferring large files between computers
• Testing or cloning M.2 drives
• Expanding laptop or desktop storage without internal installation

Key specifications

• Supported drives: M.2 (single drive)
• Compatible M.2 keys: NVMe M-Key, NVMe B+M-Key, SATA B+M-Key
• Supported interfaces: PCI Express (NVMe), Serial ATA (SATA)
• USB version: USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 (10 Gbit/s) via USB Type-C
• Material: Aluminium
• Colour: Black
• Number of drives supported: 1
• Weight: 0.11 kg

How to use

Open the enclosure according to the manufacturer's instructions, insert a compatible M.2 SSD (aligning the drive with the correct M-Key or B+M-Key), secure the drive, then close the enclosure. Connect the enclosure to your computer using a USB Type-C cable. The drive should be recognized by the operating system; format or initialise it if required. For NVMe drives ensure the host supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 speeds to achieve maximum throughput.

Recommendations

Use the enclosure on a flat, ventilated surface and avoid covering it during heavy transfers to aid passive cooling. Verify drive compatibility (M-Key or B+M-Key) before installation and use a USB 3.2 Gen 2-capable port and cable to benefit from the full 10 Gbit/s bandwidth.
