Case RAID Unitek S1301AGY01-EU USB-C per unità SATA, supporta fino a 80 TB

The Unitek RAID Enclosure S1301AGY01-EU USB-C for SATA drives is a multi-bay external chassis designed to consolidate up to 80TB of SATA HDD or SSD storage into a single USB-C connected device. It supports hardware RAID configurations to provide either data redundancy or improved throughput, and is intended for situations that require large, centralized storage such as backups, media libraries, and archival systems. The enclosure combines plug-and-play USB-C connectivity with onboard RAID management for straightforward setup and ongoing operation.

Advantages

The enclosure offers hardware RAID support to implement RAID levels that prioritize redundancy or performance without relying solely on host-based software. USB-C connectivity ensures high-speed transfer rates and broad compatibility with modern PCs and workstations. A multi-bay design allows flexible capacity scaling up to 80TB by installing multiple SATA drives. The unit centralizes drive management and simplifies replacement or upgrade of individual drives while maintaining a compact external footprint suitable for desktop environments.

How to use

Install compatible SATA drives into the enclosure according to the manufacturer's drive trays or guides, ensuring correct seating and secure attachment. Connect the enclosure to a host computer using the included USB-C cable and power on the unit. Access the onboard RAID management interface or follow the supplied instructions to select and configure the preferred RAID level. Once RAID initialization completes, the combined storage will appear to the operating system as a single external volume ready for formatting or immediate use for backups, media storage, or file transfer.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use drives of the same capacity and performance class when creating RAID arrays; maintain regular backups of critical data even when using redundant RAID levels; ensure adequate ventilation around the enclosure and monitor drive health via the enclosure's monitoring tools to reduce the risk of data loss.
