Cavo ACT CAT6 U/UTP PVC rigido con separatore di coppia 305 m cartone

The ACT CAT6 U/UTP PVC solid cable with pair splitter, 305 m box, is a Category 6 network cable engineered for structured cabling installations requiring consistent performance over horizontal runs. Constructed as a solid conductor cable with integrated pair splitter and U/UTP (unshielded/overall unshielded) configuration, it supports high-speed data transmission and reduces crosstalk and near-end interference. The grey PVC jacket provides mechanical protection and straightforward identification during installation.

Advantages

This cable combines solid conductors and pair separation to maintain signal integrity across typical network distances. The CAT6 specification enables higher bandwidth and improved performance compared with earlier categories, while the U/UTP design minimizes external electromagnetic interference without the complexity of individual pair shields. The PVC outer sheath offers durability, flexibility for routing in cable trays and conduits, and a consistent outer diameter that simplifies termination preparation.

Suitable for

• Ethernet LAN backbone and horizontal runs in offices and data rooms
• Structured cabling installations requiring Cat6 performance
• Environments where a reliable unshielded cable with pair splitter is preferred
• New builds and retrofits where 305 m bulk reels are practical

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Conductor type: Solid conductors
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded pairs, unshielded overall)
• Jacket material: PVC
• Length per box: 305 m
• Colour: Grey
• Integrated feature: Pair splitter (pair separator)

How to use

Cut the required length from the 305 m box and prepare the solid conductors for termination by stripping the outer PVC jacket and removing the pair splitter as needed to match connector or keystone termination method. Use appropriate Cat6-compatible termination hardware and follow standard wiring schemes (T568A/T568B) for consistent network performance. When routing the cable, avoid tight bends and excessive pulling tension; secure the cable in trays or conduits and maintain separation from high-voltage power lines to reduce interference.

Recommendations

For best results, terminate with tools and connectors rated for solid Cat6 cable and test each run for continuity, attenuation and crosstalk after installation. Store the box horizontally and protect the cable from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures during storage and installation to preserve the PVC jacket properties.
