Cavo coassiale MACLEAN MCTV-470 RG-6/U 25 m, bianco

The MACLEAN MCTV-470 RG-6/U coaxial cable, 25 m in white, is designed for reliable transmission of TV, satellite and broadband signals in home and small office environments. The cable uses the RG-6/U standard construction to support consistent impedance and low signal loss over its length, while copper-plated connector contacts improve conductivity and corrosion resistance. The single-pack white jacket facilitates discrete routing along walls, skirting boards or behind AV furniture.

Advantages

The RG-6/U geometry combined with quality shielding reduces interference and maintains signal integrity for aerial, satellite and cable TV sources as well as broadband connections. Copper-plated contacts provide improved electrical contact and durability compared with plain brass terminations. The 25 m length covers typical room-to-equipment distances without the need for splicing, and the white outer jacket blends with common interior finishes for neat installation.

Key specifications

How to use

Measure the required run from the signal source to the device, allowing a small service loop for movement. Cut the cable to length and prepare the end by stripping the outer jacket and dielectric to expose the center conductor and outer shield, following the connector manufacturer's instructions. Terminate with compatible F-type connectors or use pre-fitted connectors if supplied; ensure firm, even tightening without over-torquing. Route the cable along walls, clips or cable channels and avoid tight bends or kinks to preserve impedance and signal quality.

Recommendations

Avoid running the coaxial cable in parallel with power cables for long distances to minimize interference. Keep bend radius larger than the cable diameter recommendation and use appropriate connectors or adapters when connecting to satellite LNBs, set-top boxes or modems to maintain reliable signal levels.
