Cavo di alimentazione ACT C14 - C5 nero 2 m

The ACT Powercord C14 - C5 2m is a power cable designed for reliable mains connectivity between equipment with IEC C14 inlet and devices using an IEC C5 socket. With a two-meter length and a black finish, this cable supports standard mains voltage and provides a straightforward, durable connection for office and home electronics that require a compact three-pin C5 plug.

Advantages

This power cable offers a balanced combination of length and flexibility for placement of equipment without stretching or excess slack. The molded C14 and C5 connectors provide secure mating and strain relief to reduce wear at the connection points. Built to meet standard electrical requirements for everyday use, the cable delivers a stable current suitable for small to medium power devices while maintaining a compact, unobtrusive appearance.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops and notebook power supplies that accept a C5 plug
• Powering projectors and small AV equipment with a C5 inlet
• Replacing worn or lost C14–C5 power cords in office environments
• Cable routing where a 2 m length provides convenient reach

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Connector A: IEC C14 coupler
• Connector B: IEC C5 coupler (three-pin cloverleaf)
• Rated input voltage: 230 V
• Rated current: 2.5 A
• Colour: Black

How to use

Ensure both the power source and the connected device are switched off before inserting the connectors. Plug the C14 coupler into the equipment or power distribution unit with the matching inlet and insert the C5 plug into the device's socket until it seats firmly. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends or pinch points and verify that the connection is secure before switching the power on. Disconnect by switching off the power and pulling the connector by the body, not by the cable, to protect the terminations.

Recommendations

Use the cable indoors in dry, ventilated environments and avoid exposure to liquids, excessive heat, or mechanical stress. For devices that draw higher current or for locations requiring longer reach, select a cable with appropriate current rating and length. Periodically inspect the connectors and sheath for damage and replace the cable if any cracks, exposed conductors, or loose fittings are observed.
