Cavo di rete Dätwyler Cables 21.05.0514 blu 1 m Cat6a S/FTP

The Dätwyler Cables 21.05.0514 Blue 1 m Cat6a S/FTP is a one-meter network patch cable designed for high-speed wired Ethernet connections. Constructed to meet Category 6a specifications, this blue cable includes S/FTP shielding to minimize electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Equipped with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, it supports reliable data transmission for network devices requiring Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance at short distances.

Advantages

This Cat6a S/FTP cable provides improved signal integrity thanks to a braided overall shield combined with individually shielded twisted pairs, which reduces external interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk. The one-meter length is convenient for connecting devices within rack enclosures, patch panels, and desktop setups without excess cable slack. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with a wide range of network equipment and simplify installation.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers, and patch panels in data cabinets and racks
• Short-distance connections between servers and network ports
• Desktop workstation cabling requiring shielded connections
• High-throughput applications such as Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet within short runs

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 1 meter
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Blue
• Intended use: Ethernet network patch cable for high-speed data transmission

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports on your devices, such as switches, routers, patch panels, or computers. Ensure connectors are fully seated until you hear or feel the locking tab engage. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For installations in shielded environments, connect equipment ground appropriately to maintain shield continuity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for short runs up to 1 meter where high data rates and reduced interference are required. Avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain proper grounding of shielded equipment when deployed in environments with significant EMI. Replace the cable if connector latches or shielding become damaged.
