Cavo di rete Dexlan 858654 Cat7 S/FTP 10 m nero

The Dexlan 858654 Cat7 S/FTP 10m networking cable offers a 10-metre connection with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for high-speed data transmission and reduced electromagnetic interference, this black Cat7 cable supports demanding network environments where signal integrity and stable throughput are required. It is suitable for linking routers, switches, network cards and other Ethernet-enabled devices in home and office setups.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to minimise crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving signal quality over the full 10 m length. The Cat7 specification provides enhanced bandwidth capacity compared with older cable categories, supporting higher data rates and more reliable performance for wired Ethernet connections. Factory-fitted RJ‑45 plugs ensure simple plug-and-play installation without additional termination tools. The black PVC jacket provides a discreet, professional appearance and basic protection against abrasion and handling.

How to use

Insert one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your router, switch or network device and the other end into the corresponding port of the target device. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure mechanical and electrical connection. For best performance, avoid tight bends, kinks or running the cable parallel to mains power cables for extended distances. If routing through cable conduits or behind furniture, allow gentle curves and sufficient slack to prevent tension at the connector ends.

Recommendations

Maintain separation from high-voltage power lines and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For permanent installations, verify channel performance with appropriate testing tools if the network requires certified guarantees. Replace the cable if the jacket or connectors show visible damage to preserve signal integrity.
