• Server racks and patch panels where Cat6a performance is required
• Workstations and office setups needing clear cable identification
• Temporary or permanent installations requiring a durable Cat6a lead

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a
• Length: 1 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Color: Red
• Designed use: High-speed Ethernet connections

How to use

Ensure both devices to be connected are powered off or support hot-plugging according to their manuals. Insert the RJ-45 plugs firmly into the Ethernet ports of the devices until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension, and secure it using appropriate cable management accessories if needed. For patch panel or switch installations, confirm port labeling aligns with the red cable for easy identification.

Recommendations

Use this 1 m Cat6a cable for short links where Cat6a performance is desirable. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines to minimize electromagnetic interference. Inspect connectors for damage before use and replace the cable if any physical defects are found.
