Cavo di rete EFB Elektronik K5528GR.0.5 RJ-45 Cat8.1 0,5 m grigio

The EFB Elektronik K5528GR.0.5 RJ-45 Cat8.1 networking cable is a 0.5 m S/FTP patch lead designed for high-speed applications such as 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T over RJ45. It supports frequencies up to 2000 MHz and is intended for short-distance high-bandwidth links with a maximum practical transmission distance of 30 m.

Advantages

This Cat8.1 cable provides S/FTP shielding for improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. With RJ-45 connectors on both ends and support for 40GBase-T cabling technology, it enables data transfer rates up to 40000 Mbit/s. The compact 0.5 m length reduces excess cable in dense racks and the grey colour offers a neutral appearance for professional installations.

Suitable for

• Short-distance 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T links
• High-density server racks and switch-to-switch connections
• Applications requiring shielded RJ-45 patching (S/FTP)

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat8.1
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Shielding: S/FTP
• Frequency range: up to 2000 MHz
• Maximum transmission distance: currently 30 m
• Data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Colour: Grey
• Cabling technology: 40GBase-T

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the source device and the other end to the target device or switch port. Ensure both connected ports support the intended 25G/40GBase-T speeds and that cable routing avoids sharp bends and sources of severe mechanical stress. For best performance, use within the recommended maximum transmission distance and maintain proper grounding when integrating shielded cables.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8.1 S/FTP patch cable for short, high-bandwidth RJ-45 connections in controlled environments such as server rooms and data centres; verify connector compatibility and observe the 30 m practical distance limit for optimal throughput.
