Cavo di rete EFB Elektronik RJ45 S/FTP Cat6a RJ-45 0,5 m nero

The EFB Elektronik RJ45 S/FTP Cat6a networking cable (0.5 m) provides a compact, shielded solution for high-speed Ethernet connections. It is equipped with two RJ-45 connectors, supports Cat6a performance and is halogen-free. The cable follows TIA/EIA 568B wiring and uses S/FTP (PIMF) shielding to reduce external interference, making it suitable for demanding network environments where consistent data transmission is required.

Advantages

This Cat6a S/FTP cable delivers up to 1000 MHz bandwidth and improved protection against crosstalk and electromagnetic interference thanks to pairwise foil shielding and an overall braid. The short 0.5 m length is convenient for patching in racks or connecting adjacent devices without excess cable slack. The halogen-free jacket enhances safety in confined installations, and standard RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with common network equipment.

Suitable for

• Patching between switches and patch panels in rack environments
• Connecting network devices in small office or home office setups
• Short-distance connections between servers and nearby switches

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port until it clicks. Use the 0.5 m cable to connect devices located close to each other such as a switch to a patch panel or a switch to a server. Ensure both ends are wired according to TIA/EIA 568B and that connectors are fully seated to maintain signal integrity. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable to preserve shielding and performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable length within short patch distances and avoid routing parallel to power lines or sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Use in well-ventilated rack spaces and verify connections after installation.
