Cavo di rete Hama 00200919 15 m Cat5e F/UTP RJ-45 1000 Mbit/s grigio

The Hama 00200919 networking cable is a 15 m Cat5e F/UTP cable designed for wired Ethernet connections. It uses RJ-45 connectors on both ends and supports data transfer speeds up to 1000 Mbit/s. The cable’s foil-shielded twisted-pair construction (F/UTP) reduces external electromagnetic interference for reliable signal integrity in home, office, and light-commercial network setups. The grey jacket provides a neutral appearance that integrates with most installations.

Advantages

This Hama Cat5e cable offers a combination of length and shielding that is suitable for longer cable runs while maintaining gigabit-capable performance. F/UTP shielding helps protect the signal from nearby sources of interference, and the fixed RJ-45 connectors provide broad compatibility with routers, switches, network cards, and patch panels that accept standard 8P8C plugs. The 15 m length reduces the need for intermediate extensions and keeps cable routing tidy in typical residential and small office environments.

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into the corresponding port on your router, switch or modem. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, tight kinks and proximity to high-voltage power lines to preserve signal quality. For wall or ceiling installations, use appropriate cable clips or trunking to fasten the cable and prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to mains power cables; cross them at right angles if necessary. Verify that both connected devices support gigabit speeds to utilize the 1000 Mbit/s capability. If permanent in-wall installation is required, confirm local building and fire-safety codes and consider using plenum-rated cabling where mandated.
