Cavo di rete Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 10 m

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 10 m networking cable is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission over a 10-metre run. With S/FTP construction and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this white cable supports demanding networking environments where reduced crosstalk and improved signal integrity are required. The cable is intended for fixed or semi-permanent installations in offices, server rooms and home networks that need Cat6a performance for applications such as Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short distances.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding provides individual pair foil plus an overall braided or foil shield to minimise electromagnetic interference and near-end crosstalk. The Cat 6a specification supports higher frequency operation than Cat5e or Cat6, enabling better performance for bandwidth-intensive tasks. Pre-terminated RJ-45 connectors simplify installation and ensure compatibility with standard Ethernet ports. The white jacket offers a neutral appearance that blends into professional and residential environments.

Key specifications

• Cable length: 10 m
• Construction: S/FTP shielding (individual pair foil + overall shield)
• Rated category: Cat 6a
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, pre-terminated
• Colour: White
• Suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and short-range 10 Gigabit Ethernet links

How to use

Route the cable through existing cable ducts, raceways or along walls and secure it with appropriate clips or ties without bending below the recommended minimum bend radius. Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port until it clicks into place. For rack or cabinet installations, label both ends if multiple runs are present to simplify identification. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines for extended distances to reduce potential interference.

Recommendations

For best performance maintain proper cable management, avoid sharp bends and compressive forces on the cable, and keep separation from sources of strong electromagnetic noise. Use this Cat 6a S/FTP cable for short to medium runs where enhanced shielding and higher bandwidth are required; for longer 10 Gigabit links consult network planning guidelines to determine if fiber optic solutions are more appropriate.
