Cavo di rete Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 20 m

The Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 20m networking cable provides a 20-metre connection designed for reliable Ethernet links in homes, offices and networked equipment rooms. Constructed to support 10/100/1000Base-T(X) cabling technology, the cable is terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and is finished in a magenta jacket for clear visual identification in patching environments. The S/FTP (also described as PIMF) shielding improves resistance to external electromagnetic interference, helping maintain signal integrity for high-speed data transfers.

Advantages

The fully assembled cable combines CAT6 performance with S/FTP shielding, which consists of individually foiled pairs plus an overall shield to reduce crosstalk and external noise. With RJ-45 connectors pre-terminated, the cable is ready for immediate use without additional tools. The 20 m length allows flexible placement of devices while keeping a single continuous run, and the magenta colour makes cable runs easier to trace and manage visually.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections between switches, routers and networked devices
• Home and small office networks requiring Gigabit Ethernet
• Patch panels and structured cabling where shielded CAT6 is preferred
• Temporary or permanent installations where a 20 m length is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 20 m
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding: S/FTP (PIMF) — foil shielded pairs with overall shield
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Category: CAT6
• Colour: Magenta

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your network switch, router or device and the other connector into the corresponding port of the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, sharp edges and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to preserve performance. When using patch panels or wall plates, insert the appropriate RJ-45 jack and verify link status on connected equipment.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and keep bend radius greater than the manufacturer’s minimum where possible. Use shielded ports and properly grounded patch panels in environments with significant electromagnetic noise to take full advantage of the S/FTP shielding.
