Cavo di rete Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 3 m

The Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 3m networking cable provides a 3-meter connection designed for Gigabit Ethernet environments. Featuring SF/UTP shielding and individually foil-wrapped pairs with an overall braid, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk for stable data transmission. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 connectors and the cable comes in a neutral grey finish suitable for home and office installations.

Advantages

SF/UTP (PIMF) construction offers improved protection against external noise and enhances signal integrity over standard unshielded cables. The cable supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networking speeds, enabling reliable Gigabit performance for data, voice and multimedia streams. A 3 m length balances reach and cable management for desk-level connections while RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with common network equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and NAS devices to network switches or routers
• Office workstations and small-business network links
• Home networks requiring Gigabit Ethernet for streaming and file transfer
• Patch panel to switch or router short-range connections

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with foil-wrapped pairs, PIMF)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Supported standards: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Color: Grey

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into a switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully seated to establish a stable link; most devices will indicate link and activity via LEDs. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and keep it clear of strong electromagnetic sources to maintain signal quality. For wall or rack installations, leave some slack to allow reconfiguration without stressing the terminations.

Recommendations

Use this CAT6 S/FTP cable in environments where reduced interference is required or where multiple cables run in parallel. Avoid sharp kinks and maintain the recommended bend radius to preserve performance. For environments with significant EMI, ensure both connected devices and intermediate hardware support shielded cabling for optimal results.
