Cavo di rete Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 7,5 m giallo

The Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) networking cable, 7.5 meters long and finished in yellow, delivers structured connectivity for Ethernet networks up to gigabit speeds. Constructed with individually foil-shielded pairs within an overall braided or foil shield (S/FTP), this cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk compared with unshielded alternatives. Both ends are fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors, allowing plug-and-play compatibility with switches, routers, patch panels and network devices that support 10/100/1000Base-T(X).

Advantages

The S/FTP (PIMF) design provides enhanced protection against external noise and improves signal integrity for consistent data throughput across the 7.5 m span. The CAT6 specification supports higher bandwidth and better performance for modern network applications compared with older cable categories. The bright yellow jacket increases visibility in dense cabling environments and simplifies identification and cable management.

Suitable for

• Wiring between network devices in offices, server rooms and home networks
• Patch connections at wall plates, patch panels and switches
• Gigabit Ethernet connections and local area networks using 10/100/1000Base-T(X)

Key specifications

• Cable length: 7.5 m
• Category: CAT6
• Shielding: S/FTP (individually foil‑shielded pairs with overall shield)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Supported standards: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Color: Yellow

How to use

Route the cable between the two network endpoints, avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible. Insert the RJ-45 plug firmly into the device port until it clicks. For installations through conduits or tight channels, feed the cable carefully to avoid damaging the outer jacket or internal shielding. Test the connection and link speed with a network tester or by checking link/activity LEDs on connected devices.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable in parallel with mains power lines for long distances and maintain bend radii recommended for Ethernet cables. Use the yellow color to mark or label connections according to your site’s cable management scheme and periodically verify connections in high-usage environments.
