The InLine® Slim Cat.6A S/FTP patch cable seriescombines highest network performance with maximum space and energy efficiency. Thanks to the particularly slim design with AWG28 conductors, these cables enable a significantly higher port density in network cabinets and ensure improved air circulation, which increases cooling and efficiency.

In contrast to conventional, thinner AWG32 cables, this cable supports full Cat.6A transmission quality at up to 500 MHzand 4PPoEwith up to87 watts. This makes it the ideal solution for professional applications where a combination of space-saving, PoE capability and high performance is required.

The use of high-quality copper conductors minimizes signal loss and ensures a reliable network connection - even over distances of up to 30 metres. The S/FTP double shielding reliably protects the cable from electromagnetic interference.

How to use

Connect the RJ-45 plug at each end to the corresponding Ethernet ports on network equipment (switch, router, patch panel or device). The cable is wired 1:1 according to T568B and is intended for short patch runs within cabinets, racks or between devices. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages. For PoE applications, verify that connected devices and power sourcing equipment support the required 4PPoE power level.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the InLine 74955W for patching within racks and cabinets where space is limited and cooling is important. Avoid tight bending beyond the cable's minimum bend radius and do not exceed the specified operating temperature. When deploying PoE devices, confirm cable length and power budgets to maintain reliable operation.
