Cavo di rete Lindy 47542 bianco 2 m Cat6a U/FTP (STP)

The Lindy 47542 is a 2 meter Cat6a U/FTP (STP) networking cable with RJ45 plugs on both ends. The cable uses a flat ribbon design that is extremely thin and flexible, allowing routing under carpets, between baseboard and wall, or beneath laminate and parquet. It is shielded to reduce interference and supports 10/100/1000Base-T network speeds. The cable is white and comes with kink protection, strain relief on the RJ45 plugs and a 10 year warranty.

Advantages

The flat ribbon construction provides high flexibility and a low profile for discreet routing in tight spaces. U/FTP (STP) shielding improves signal integrity in environments with electromagnetic interference. RJ45 connectors include kink protection and strain relief to increase connector durability. The cable supports Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T), offering compatibility with modern network devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, routers, switches and networked devices at home or office
• Installations where the cable must be routed under carpets or between baseboard and wall
• High-bandwidth tasks such as file transfer, streaming and VoIP

Key specifications

• Length: 2 m
• Standard: Cat6a
• Shielding: U/FTP (STP)
• Connectors: RJ45 to RJ45 with kink protection and strain relief
• Supported speeds: 10/100/1000Base-T

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug to your network device (PC, switch, router) and the other to the corresponding port on the opposite device. Route the flat ribbon cable along the desired path — it can be laid under carpets, along skirting boards or beneath laminate/parquet flooring where allowed. Ensure connectors are fully seated in ports until the latch clicks to secure the connection.

Recommendations

To maintain performance, avoid sharp bends at the connector ends and do not exceed the recommended installation environment limits for electrical interference. For permanent under-floor installations check building regulations and flooring manufacturer guidance before routing the cable beneath flooring materials.
