Cavo di rete ShiverPeaks 75711-H-SET10 CAT6 S/FTP PIMF, 4 coppie, schermatura in foglio e treccia

ShiverPeaks 75711-H-SET10 CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) network cable provides four individually foil-shielded twisted pairs plus an overall braided shield designed for high-speed Ethernet and structured cabling. The halogen-free cable construction reduces the risk associated with smoke and toxic gases in the event of fire, while the combined foil and braid shielding lowers crosstalk and electromagnetic interference to maintain stable Gigabit connections in office, server room, and industrial installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP (PIMF) design ensures each pair is individually shielded and an external braid adds an additional layer of protection against external interference. Support for CAT6 performance enables reliable data rates up to Gigabit Ethernet under appropriate system conditions. Halogen-free materials improve safety in enclosed spaces. The cable is suitable for use with standard RJ45 terminations and patch panels commonly used in structured cabling systems.

Suitable for

• Wired Gigabit Ethernet networks in offices and homes
• Structured cabling in server rooms and telecommunications racks
• Environments with elevated electromagnetic interference
• Installations requiring halogen-free cabling for safety compliance

Key specifications

• Category: CAT6 performance for Ethernet networking
• Construction: S/FTP (PIMF) — foil around each pair plus overall braid
• Pairs: 4 twisted pairs
• Material: halogen-free jacket
• Shielding: individual pair foil shielding and full braid screen
• Typical applications: Gigabit Ethernet, structured cabling, patching

How to use

Terminate the cable with compatible RJ45 connectors or pre-assembled patch leads following the chosen wiring standard (T568A or T568B). Maintain proper cable bend radius and avoid sharp kinks during installation to preserve signal integrity. Route the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic noise where possible and secure with appropriate cable management hardware. For permanent link installations, use appropriate patch panels and test each installed link with a network cable tester to verify continuity, pair integrity and return loss where required.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this CAT6 S/FTP cable for horizontal cabling runs up to the standard channel length and ensure terminations and connectors are rated for CAT6 and shielded operation. When installing in environments with high EMI, ground the braid at the patch panel or connector end according to local cabling practices to maximize shielding effectiveness.
