Cavo di rete shiverpeaks BASIC-S Cat7 0.25m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 networking cable 0.25m is a short patch cable designed for connecting network devices where minimal length is required. It features U/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, providing a compact, shielded link suitable for high-speed data transfer in congested or noise-prone environments. The cable's red jacket offers clear visual identification in patch panels or bundled installations.

Advantages

The U/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity for demanding network applications. Its Cat7 specification supports higher frequencies compared with earlier categories, enabling stable performance for gigabit and multi-gigabit connections over short distances. The molded RJ-45 connectors ensure secure and consistent contact, while the 0.25m length minimizes excess cabling and helps maintain tidy rack or desktop layouts.

Suitable for

• Short connections between network ports, switches and patch panels
• High-density rack and data cabinet installations where space is limited
• Environments with possible electromagnetic interference where shielding is beneficial
• Home or office setups requiring color-coded cabling for easy identification

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 0.25 m
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends, molded boots
• Color: Red
• Supported frequencies: up to Cat7 specification ranges for high-frequency transmission

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other end into the port on the switch, router or patch panel. Ensure both connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Use the 0.25m cable for short, direct links to reduce slack and avoid unnecessary cable routing. Inspect connectors and cable jacket for damage before installation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force on the cable. Keep the cable clear of large power cables and sources of strong electromagnetic fields where possible. Use color-coded cables like the red ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 to simplify port mapping and maintenance in multi-cable environments.
