Cavo di rete shiverpeaks BASIC-S Cat7 10m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 networking cable is a 10 m U/FTP (STP) shielded Ethernet cable with RJ-45 connectors at both ends, designed for reliable high-speed wired connections. Compliant with the Cat7 performance class, it supports multi-gigabit data transfer for demanding network tasks. The cable’s red jacket offers clear visual identification in patch panels or home network setups while its construction aims to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity over longer runs.

Advantages

This Cat7 cable combines foil-shielded pairs and an overall shield to limit crosstalk and external interference, which helps preserve signal quality for high-bandwidth applications. The 10 m length provides flexibility in device placement without the need for additional patching. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with common networking equipment, and the durable jacket is intended to withstand regular handling and routing in home or office environments.

Suitable for

• Wired home networks and multimedia systems
• Gaming setups requiring stable low-latency connections
• Streaming and video conferencing where reliable bandwidth is needed
• Small office or workstation connections to switches and routers

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Length: 10 m
• Shielding: U/FTP (individual foil around each pair and overall shield)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Maximum supported speed: up to 10 Gbps
• Color: red jacket for visual identification

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (router, switch, modem or network card) and the other end to the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a reliable electrical contact. Route the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic noise and avoid tight bends or kinks to maintain performance. For wall routing or fixed installations, secure the cable with suitable clips or cable ties without compressing the jacket.

Recommendations

For best results in multi-device setups, use shielded patch panels and maintain consistent grounding for connected equipment to maximize the effectiveness of the U/FTP shielding. If you require runs longer than 10 m, plan for additional cabling or switch placement to preserve 10 Gbps performance over the network.
