Cavo di rete shiverpeaks BASIC-S Cat7 15m rosso U/FTP STP

The shiverpeaks BASIC-S Cat7 15m Red U/FTP STP networking cable provides a 15-meter connection with U/FTP (shielded twisted pairs) construction and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed to support high-speed data transmission up to 10 Gbps, this red cable is intended for reliable wired network links in home, office or professional setups where reduced electromagnetic interference and stable throughput are required.

Advantages

The U/FTP (overall shielding with individually shielded pairs) design reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity over longer distances. Category 7 performance enables higher bandwidth and better headroom for demanding applications compared with lower-category cables. The 15 m length offers flexibility in device placement without additional patching, while the molded RJ-45 connectors ensure secure, plug-and-play installation. The cable’s durable outer jacket and color-coded red finish simplify routing and identification in multi-cable environments.

Suitable for

• Wired high-speed LAN connections in homes and small offices
• Gaming setups requiring low-latency, stable connections
• Streaming and media servers with high bandwidth needs
• Network switches, routers and patch panels in structured cabling
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielding is beneficial

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 15 meters
• Construction: U/FTP (individually shielded twisted pairs with overall shield)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends, molded strain relief
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 10 Gbps
• Jacket color: red
• Typical use: Ethernet networking (10/100/1000/10GBase-T compatibility)

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device (router, switch, patch panel or network interface on a computer) and the other connector to the corresponding network port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until a secure latch is heard or felt. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and kinks; maintain bend radius recommended for Ethernet cables and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power cables for extended distances. For fixed installations, verify that the cable length and routing meet any enclosure or cable management constraints.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable in shielded or well-grounded network environments when possible to allow the shielding to dissipate interference. Avoid sharp bends and heavy compression; secure the cable with cable ties or clips without over-tightening. When connecting to keystone jacks or devices, confirm the connector and port are rated for Cat7 or compatible speeds to achieve the advertised throughput.
