Cavo di rete ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 3 m rosso U/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 3m Red U/FTP networking cable provides a 3-meter connection with U/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for high-speed data transmission, this Cat7 cable supports environments where reduced crosstalk and improved signal integrity are required. The red jacket makes the cable easy to identify in dense installations and the construction is intended for reliable, long-term use in home and professional networks.

Advantages

The U/FTP shielding (overall unshielded braid with individually foil-shielded pairs) reduces electromagnetic interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk, improving performance for demanding applications. Cat7 specification ensures higher bandwidth capability compared with earlier twisted-pair categories, supporting stable high-speed transfers. RJ-45 terminations provide broad compatibility with standard network equipment. The durable outer jacket and secure connector assembly contribute to mechanical robustness and predictable long-term operation.

Suitable for

• Gaming setups requiring low-latency wired connections
• Streaming high-definition audio and video
• Wired connections for desktop PCs, NAS and network switches
• Small office and home office (SOHO) network installations
• Patch cabling in structured network racks where color coding is useful

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7 (shielded twisted pair)
• Length: 3 m
• Conductor type: stranded copper (signal conductors)
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connector: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Red jacket for easy identification
• Typical use: Ethernet networking up to Gigabit and higher depending on system

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (router, switch, PC or console) and the other end to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; maintain appropriate strain relief at connector ends to prevent damage during movement or installation changes.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat7 U/FTP cable in shielded or grounded installations when possible, especially in environments with multiple active electrical devices. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines for extended distances. Regularly inspect connectors for dust or deformation and replace the cable if the jacket or connectors show visible damage.
