Cavo di rete ShiverPeaks BS08-35064 rosso 7,5 m Cat7 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-35064 Red 7.5m Cat7 U/UTP networking cable provides a 7.5 m connection for wired network links supporting data transfer speeds up to 10000 Mbit/s. It is equipped with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors on both ends and uses U/UTP shielding. The cable’s red jacket makes it easy to identify in patch panels and cabling runs while delivering the electrical characteristics expected from Cat7-class cable for high-bandwidth network environments.

Advantages

The cable combines Cat7 category performance with U/UTP shielding to reduce external electromagnetic interference on the conductors, while gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact reliability and resist corrosion. The 7.5 m length offers flexibility for desktop or rack connections without excess slack, and the bright red color helps with visual cable management and quick identification in multi-cable setups.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet links up to 10 Gbps in offices and data closets
• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels within a rack or room
• Home networks where a clearly visible cable run is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 7.5 m
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall sheath with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Red
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s

How to use

Route the cable between networking devices ensuring bends are gentle and the minimum bend radius is respected to maintain signal integrity. Insert the RJ-45 connectors fully into the corresponding ports until they click. For fixed installations, secure the cable along trunking or cable runs to prevent strain on connectors and avoid running alongside high-voltage power lines where possible. Verify link status on connected devices and perform a speed test if needed to confirm desired throughput.

Recommendations

Use the ShiverPeaks Cat7 cable for short to medium patch runs where 10 Gbps performance and clear visual identification are required. Keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference and avoid sharp kinks; regular inspection of connectors and ends will extend service life.
