Cavo di rete ShiverPeaks BS08-41003-4 Cat8.1 0,25 m F/FTP verde

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41003-4 Cat8.1 0.25m F/FTP Green is a short, high-performance Ethernet patch cable designed to support high-speed data transmission in compact network setups. Built to Cat8.1 specifications with F/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this 25 cm cable is intended for reliable, low-latency connections between network devices where short runs are required, such as between a switch and a server or patch panel ports in dense rack environments.

Advantages

F/FTP shielding (foil around each pair plus overall foil) reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity in environments with multiple cables and electronic equipment. The gold-plated RJ-45 contacts provide corrosion resistance and consistent contact performance over time. The short 0.25 m length minimizes cable clutter and latency for direct device-to-device links while maintaining Cat8.1 performance for high-bandwidth applications.

Suitable for

• Direct connections between network devices in racks and patch panels
• High-speed data transfer in home lab or small office setups
• Short interconnects in data centres, telecom closets, or equipment cabinets
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference and reliable signal integrity

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1 performance level
• Length: 0.25 m (25 centimetres)
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil shield with individually foiled pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Green
• Designed for high-bandwidth, low-latency connections

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port of the source device and the other to the target device or port, ensuring a secure click engagement. Use this short cable for direct device-to-device connections where a minimal cable length is preferred; avoid excessive bending or kinking near the connector ends to preserve shielding and performance. Verify link status on connected equipment and, if necessary, test throughput with network diagnostics to confirm Cat8.1-level performance in the installation context.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short, high-speed links inside racks or equipment cabinets and route it away from power cables and strong EMI sources. For permanent installations, confirm connector seating and strain relief, and avoid running the cable alongside unshielded power wiring to maintain optimal signal quality.
