Cavo di rete ShiverPeaks BS08-41034-4 Cat8.1 2 m F/FTP rosso

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41034-4 Cat8.1 2m F/FTP Red is a high-performance networking cable designed for demanding Ethernet environments. This 2‑meter cable complies with Category 8.1 specifications and uses F/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Equipped with RJ-45 connectors and gold-plated contacts, the cable supports stable physical connections and is suitable for applications that require very high data throughput and low latency in home and office networks.

Advantages

F/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individual pair shields to provide improved protection against external noise and near-end crosstalk compared with lower-category cables. The Cat8.1 specification allows for higher frequency operation suitable for multi-gigabit and 25/40 Gbps links over short distances. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance contact reliability and corrosion resistance, while the 2‑meter length balances reach and signal integrity for typical rack-to-desk or switch-to-device connections.

Suitable for

• Multi-gigabit Ethernet connections in home and small office networks
• Connecting switches, routers and network interface cards requiring Cat8.1 performance
• High-bandwidth tasks such as large file transfers, video streaming and low-latency gaming
• Short-run structured cabling between patch panels and active networking equipment

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1
• Length: 2 m
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Color: Red
• Designed for high-frequency operation suitable for multi-gigabit and 25/40 Gbps links over short distances

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the appropriate port on your switch, router or network interface card and the other end to the target device. Ensure ports are rated for the desired link speed and that connected equipment supports the Cat8.1 performance you need. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid running it in parallel with high-voltage power lines to preserve signal integrity. The 2‑meter length is intended for short-distance links such as between a desktop and a wall outlet or between rack-mounted equipment within the same cabinet.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable in environments where short-distance, high-speed links are required. Verify that network equipment supports multi-gigabit or higher speeds to take full advantage of the cable's capabilities, and maintain gentle bend radii to avoid damaging the shielded pairs.
