Cavo di rete ShiverPeaks BS08-41040-4 Cat8.1 3 m F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41040-4 Cat8.1 3m F/FTP networking cable is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for applications that require very high data rates and reliable signal integrity. Built to Cat8.1 specification with F/FTP shielding, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable connections over short runs up to 3 meters. The cable is terminated with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to improve contact reliability and resist corrosion in typical office, data center, or home network environments.

Advantages

This Cat8.1 cable offers enhanced shielding with foil over each pair plus an overall braided/foil combination to minimize external noise and pair-to-pair interference. The 3 m length balances flexibility and reach for patching and direct device connections without excess cable management. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide durable contact surfaces for consistent throughput and reduced contact resistance. The cable construction is suited for high-frequency transmissions and short-distance, high-bandwidth Ethernet applications.

Suitable for

• Short-run connections in data centers and server racks
• Patching between switches, routers, and network appliances
• High-speed LAN setups for workstation clusters and media production
• Home networks requiring future-proof cabling for 10 Gbit/s and beyond over short distances

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (foil-shielded pairs with overall foil/braid)
• Length: 3 meters
• Connector type: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Intended application: High-frequency, high-bandwidth Ethernet over short distances

How to use

Connect one gold-plated RJ-45 plug to the network port of your switch, router, or device and the other end to the corresponding port on the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the retention clip engages. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and close proximity to strong EMI sources such as unshielded power cabling or large electric motors. For best performance keep the cable run within recommended Cat8.1 distance limits and use it for patching and short interconnects where high throughput is required.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short-distance, high-bandwidth links and in environments where additional shielding is needed to maintain signal integrity. Avoid repeated tight bends and excessive pulling force on connectors during installation. For structured cabling across longer distances consider using appropriate rated infrastructure and follow local cabling standards for grounding and installation.
