Cavo di rete ShiverPeaks BS75711-A1.5W 1,5 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-A1.5W 1.5m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable is a shielded Ethernet patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission between network devices. Built to Cat6a performance parameters, this 1.5 metre white cable uses S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs) construction and RJ-45 connectors on both ends to provide reliable connections for home and office networks. The cable’s shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet links at short to medium distances.

Advantages

This Cat6a S/FTP cable offers improved signal integrity and reduced interference compared with unshielded cables, thanks to its braided overall shield and wrapped pair shields. Its 1.5m length suits typical desktop and rack-to-desk connections without excess slack. Factory-terminated RJ-45 plugs ensure consistent contact and easy plug-and-play installation. The white jacket provides a neutral aesthetic for visible installations and helps identify cabling runs in mixed environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches, routers and networked printers in home or small office setups
• Short runs between patch panels and wall outlets in structured cabling
• High-speed data transfers and streaming that require Cat6a performance
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielding is beneficial

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a performance class
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 1.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: White jacket
• Suitable link speeds: Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet over appropriate distances
• Cable usage: Patch cable for horizontal and equipment connections

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connectors into the Ethernet ports of your network devices, such as a switch, router or computer. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling; maintain gentle bend radii to preserve cable performance. For environments where shielding must be grounded, follow local installation practices to connect the cable shield to building or equipment ground as required.

Recommendations

Use this 1.5m Cat6a S/FTP cable for short to medium runs where improved immunity to interference is needed. Avoid running the cable in direct contact with high-voltage power lines and keep cable lengths within specifications for the desired Ethernet speed. For permanent structured cabling installations, verify grounding and termination practices to take full advantage of the cable’s shielding.
