Cavo di rete ShiverPeaks SC08-41033-4 Cat8.1 F/FTP (FFTP) 2 m RJ-45 contatti dorati, verde

ShiverPeaks SC08-41033-4 is a 2 m Cat8.1 networking cable with F/FTP (also referred to as FFTP) shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Engineered for 40GBase-T cabling technology, the cable supports data rates up to 40,000 Mbit/s and is intended for short-distance high-speed links in LAN environments, server racks and backbone segments. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance, while the green outer jacket provides clear visual identification in multi-cable installations.

Advantages

The F/FTP (FFTP) construction combines an overall foil shield with individual pair foil shielding to reduce crosstalk and external interference in high-frequency data transmission. Cat8.1 specification and 40GBase-T compatibility enable high throughput for short-reach, high-density environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure a stable electrical connection and lower contact resistance. The 2 m length balances flexibility and reach for connections inside racks and between adjacent equipment.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN connections where short, reliable links are required
• Server rack patching and inter-rack connections within the same rack or adjacent racks
• Short-distance backbone segments and aggregation links supporting 40GBase-T
• Environments requiring clear cable identification using colored jackets

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil + foil on each pair)
• Length: 2 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Data rate support: up to 40,000 Mbit/s (40GBase-T)
• Colour: Green

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of a switch, server or network interface and the other RJ-45 plug to the target device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages to maintain a reliable connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, kinks and sources of mechanical damage; keep separation from strong electromagnetic sources where possible. For rack installations, use appropriate cable management to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8.1 cable for short, high-speed links up to 2 m where 40GBase-T performance and reduced interference are required. Avoid excessive bending radii and do not exceed the intended short-reach application; for longer runs, select cables and infrastructure rated for the required distance and performance.
