Cavo duplex in fibra ottica InLine LC/LC 50/125µm OM3 30 m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable LC/LC 50/125µm OM3 30m is a multimode duplex fiber patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in network and data centre environments. It uses LC connectors on both ends and a 50/125 µm core/cladding geometry with OM3 classification to support higher bandwidth and reliable signal integrity over extended runs. The 30 metre length provides flexibility when routing between switches, transceivers and patch panels while maintaining low insertion loss and stable duplex links.

Advantages

This OM3 duplex cable offers consistent multimode performance suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and other high-speed links where OM3 modal bandwidth is required. LC connectors ensure a compact footprint and secure mating with LC ports commonly found on SFP/SFP+ transceivers and patch panels. The 50/125µm core size is industry standard for multimode networking, and the cable assembly is built to preserve signal quality across its length, reducing the need for intermediate repeaters for moderate distances.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting switches, servers and transceivers in data centres
• Patch panel to active equipment connections in racks
• 10 Gigabit Ethernet and other multimode optical network links
• Campus backbone and horizontal multimode runs within buildings

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC duplex on both ends
• Fiber type: Multimode OM3
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Length: 30 m
• Duplex configuration for simultaneous transmit and receive
• Suitable for multimode transceivers (e.g., SFP/SFP+ compatible)

How to use

Route the cable between the two intended endpoints, avoiding tight bends and securing the cable to cable management fixtures as needed. Align and insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC port until it clicks to ensure a secure connection. For duplex operation, keep the transmit and receive pairs correctly oriented according to the connected equipment. When disconnecting, press the connector latch and pull straight out to avoid stressing the fiber. Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness and use appropriate cleaning tools if contamination is suspected.

Recommendations

Store and handle the fiber cable according to standard multimode fiber practices: avoid sharp bends (adhere to the minimum bend radius), protect connectors with dust caps when not in use, and perform endface cleaning before mating to maintain low insertion loss and consistent link performance.
