Cavo DVI-D ShiverPeaks 77448-15MHQ 15 m Dual-Link, contatti dorati

The ShiverPeaks 77448-15MHQ DVI-D cable is a 15 m Dual-Link digital video cable designed for transmitting high-bandwidth video signals between compatible graphics cards and display devices. With gold-plated contacts and a Dual-Link DVI-D configuration, the cable supports higher resolution and refresh rates compared to single-link DVI connections, making it suitable for long-distance digital video runs in home, office and audiovisual installations.

Advantages

The cable’s Dual-Link design increases available video bandwidth for high-resolution and high-refresh applications while preserving a purely digital signal path. Gold-plated contacts improve corrosion resistance and contact reliability over time, reducing the risk of intermittent signal loss. A 15 m length enables flexible placement of displays and projectors without the need for additional active extenders when used within its operating specifications.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop graphics cards to monitors or professional displays over a 15 m run
• AV setups and projectors in conference rooms, classrooms, or event spaces
• Home media centers and long-distance connections where a digital-only DVI-D link is required
• Replacing or extending existing DVI-D cabling in offices and studios

Key specifications

• Cable type: DVI-D Dual-Link (digital only)
• Length: 15 metres
• Contacts: gold-plated for improved corrosion resistance
• Supported signals: digital video transmission suitable for high-resolution and higher refresh rates supported by Dual-Link DVI
• Typical applications: desktop-to-display, projector connections, AV installations

How to use

Ensure both the source device (graphics card or video output) and the display device have DVI-D Dual-Link compatible ports before connecting. Insert the connectors firmly into the DVI-D ports, securing any screws if present to prevent accidental disconnection. Configure the output resolution and refresh rate on the source device to match the display capabilities and the Dual-Link DVI bandwidth. If the display does not detect a signal, re-seat the connectors and verify that the devices are powered and configured to output via DVI.

Recommendations

For optimal signal integrity, avoid tight bends and excessive tension along the 15 m cable run and route the cable away from large sources of electromagnetic interference. When using high resolutions or refresh rates, confirm that both the source and display explicitly support Dual-Link DVI to achieve the expected performance.
