Cavo DVI shiverpeaks sp-PROFESSIONAL DVI-D 15 m

The shiverpeaks sp-PROFESSIONAL DVI-D 15m is a 15-metre digital video cable designed for transmitting high-quality single-link DVI-D signals between source devices and displays. With dual DVI-D connectors and durable chrome-plated plugs, the cable is intended for installations where a stable, interference-resistant digital connection is required over a longer distance. The cable supports direct digital video transfer without analogue pins, making it suitable for modern DVI-D compatible monitors, projectors and video equipment.

Advantages

The construction uses robust materials and chrome-plated connectors to improve conductivity and reduce contact wear over time. A 15 m length provides flexibility for room layouts and professional installations where devices are separated by significant distance. The exclusively digital DVI-D design eliminates analogue conversion, which helps maintain signal integrity and consistent image quality across the link.

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Connector type: DVI-D male to DVI-D male (dual-link compatible pin layout for DVI-D standard)
• Signal type: Digital video (DVI-D)
• Connector finish: Chrome-plated plugs
• Cable application: Long-distance digital video transmission between source and display

How to use

Connect one DVI-D connector to the video output of the source device and the other connector to the DVI-D input of the display device. Ensure both devices are powered off when plugging or unplugging the cable to avoid hot-plug issues. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. After connections are in place, power on the devices and select the DVI input on the display if necessary.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid coiling the 15 m cable tightly; use gentle loops and secure the cable with straps if needed. If the display shows no image, check both connector seating and display input settings; also verify that the source device outputs a compatible DVI-D signal. For installations requiring audio or analogue signals, use additional dedicated cabling as DVI-D carries digital video only.
