Cavo eSATAp / Slimline SATA, DeLOCK, 84414

This Power Over eSATA (eSATAp) to Slimline SATA cable from DELOCK (model 84414) connects a Slimline SATA (13-pin, 7+6) DVD drive to a free Power Over eSATA port, supplying the required 5V power through the integrated USB power line. The cable is 1 m long and comes in black, providing a single-cable solution for drives that require 5V without an external power adapter.

Advantages

The cable supplies both data and 5V power via an eSATAp port, eliminating the need for a separate power adapter for Slimline SATA DVD drives. Its 1 m length offers flexibility for typical external drive setups, and the Slimline SATA 13-pin connector matches common slim optical drives. The black design provides a discreet appearance for desktop or portable use.

Suitable for

• Connecting internal Slimline SATA (13-pin) DVD/CD optical drives to an eSATAp port
• External use with laptops or desktop systems that provide a Power Over eSATA (eSATAp) port
• Temporary drive access, data transfer or media playback without an external power supply

How to use

Once connected, the drive will receive 5V power through the eSATAp port and be accessible as an external optical drive without an additional power adapter. Ensure the host port supports power delivery (eSATAp) before use.

Recommendations

Use this cable only with Slimline SATA optical drives that require 5V power. Verify that the host eSATAp port provides sufficient power and supports the drive. Avoid bending the cable sharply and disconnect by pulling the connector body rather than the cable to prolong service life.
