Cavo Ethernet ProXtend CAT6 RJ-45 7 m grigio

The Ethernet Cable ProXtend CAT6 RJ-45 7M Grey is a 7-meter U/UTP CAT6 cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Constructed with copper-clad aluminum (CCA) strands and 26 AWG conductors, the cable supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) data rates up to 1000 Mbit/s. The grey PVC jacket offers flexibility and basic protection while gold-plated contacts and latch protection ensure reliable connection and secure installation.

Advantages

This ProXtend CAT6 cable provides a cost-effective alternative to pure copper cables by using CCA conductors while maintaining Gigabit Ethernet compatibility. The cable includes strain relief for increased durability, latch protection on the RJ-45 plugs to prevent accidental disconnection, and a grey PVC jacket that balances flexibility with mechanical protection. Gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance.

Suitable for

• Wired home networking between routers, switches and PCs
• Office LAN connections and patch panel links
• Connecting networked devices like NAS, printers and smart TVs

Key specifications

• Length: 7 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Conductor type: Copper-clad aluminum (CCA), AWG 26
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pairs with overall unshielded)
• Data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s
• Jacket material and colour: Grey PVC
• Weight: 0.16 kg

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your router, switch or network outlet and the other plug to the target device. Ensure clips latch securely into the port to maintain a stable connection. Route the cable without tight bends and avoid excessive tension; the built-in strain relief reduces stress at the connector but proper cable management extends service life.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this CAT6 U/UTP CCA cable for Gigabit Ethernet at typical home and office distances. Avoid runs in high-electrical-noise environments or installations requiring full solid-copper conductors; for critical or long-distance links, consider solid copper CAT6 or higher-specification shielded cables.
