Cavo in fibra ottica BlueOptics NM7902QD116001M-BO SN LC OM4 1 m nero rosa bianco

The BlueOptics NM7902QD116001M-BO is a 1 m fibre optic cable constructed for high-speed data transmission using OM4 multimode technology. It features SN and LC connectors and a 50 µm core diameter, delivering low attenuation and consistent signal integrity for short- to medium-range network links. Available in Black, Pink and White, the cable is intended for use in structured cabling, data centres and telecommunications racks where compact, reliable multimode connections are required.

Advantages

This OM4 multimode cable offers improved bandwidth and reduced modal dispersion compared with lower OM grades, enabling higher data rates over typical campus and data centre distances. The SN to LC connector pairing ensures compatibility with a wide range of transceivers and patch panels while maintaining secure mating and low insertion loss. At 1 m length the cable provides a neat, low-latency connection between equipment in dense rack environments or horizontal cabling runs. Color options help with visual identification and cable management in complex installations.

How to use

Inspect connectors and cable ends before installation to ensure cleanliness and absence of damage. Align and insert the SN and LC connectors into their respective ports until they engage securely, avoiding excessive force. Route the 1 m cable to minimize tight bends; follow the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for OM4 multimode fibre to prevent increased attenuation. For reliable performance, use dust caps when connectors are not mated and perform standard cleaning procedures on connector endfaces before connection.

Recommendations for use

Store and handle the OM4 fibre cable in a clean environment, avoid kinking or sharp bends, and use color coding to simplify network documentation and maintenance. For critical links, verify link loss with appropriate test equipment after installation to confirm expected performance.
