Cavo in fibra ottica BlueOptics QSFP-AOC-1M-LS-BO InfiniBand 1m maschio/maschio

The BlueOptics QSFP-AOC-1M-LS-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 1m Male/Male is a 1-metre active optical cable designed for high-bandwidth, short-reach connections between QSFP ports. It provides a plug-and-play connection combining QSFP form-factor transceivers and multimode optical links to support high-speed data transfer in networking and compute infrastructures where low latency and reliable throughput are required.

Advantages

This 1-metre active optical cable delivers full-duplex connectivity with low insertion loss and stable signal integrity over short distances. Male-to-male QSFP terminations enable direct connection between compatible QSFP ports without external transceivers, reducing space and power use in rack environments. The cable is suitable for dense deployments and supports simplified installation with robust QSFP connectors and strain-relieved assembly for durability in data center cabling runs.

Suitable for

• Interconnects between switches, routers and InfiniBand host/channel adapters
• Short-reach links inside data center racks and between adjacent racks
• High-performance computing clusters and storage area networks requiring low latency

Key specifications

• Connector type: QSFP male to QSFP male
• Cable type: Active optical cable (AOC)
• Length: 1 metre
• Application: InfiniBand high-speed data links
• Polarity: Full-duplex
• Design: Compact QSFP form-factor with strain relief

How to use

Ensure both endpoints support QSFP AOC connections and power down equipment if recommended by the device manufacturer before installation. Align and insert each QSFP connector into the respective port until the retention latch engages. After connection, power up the devices and verify link status through device LEDs or management interfaces. For removal, disengage the retention mechanism and pull the connector straight out to avoid stressing the cable.

Recommendations

Route the cable to avoid tight bends and excessive tension; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for active optical assemblies. Use within short-reach topologies as intended and confirm compatibility with QSFP ports and InfiniBand link speeds on both devices before deployment.
